Mexico's Nacozari mine has produced some of the most beautiful North American turquoise you can find. The mine, open for only two years, closed recently, making this gorgeous turquoise increasingly harder to find and quite collectible. The stunning 8x25mm stabilized Nacozari turquoise drops in this pair of earrings were fashioned by lapidarists Rogue Gems of Portland, Oregon. Combined with hand-crafted artisan fine silver with original artwork by Lonesome Road Studio, these earrings are truly one-of-a-kind.

I have done my best to accurately photograph the amazing clear blue of this turquoise; color display can vary from monitor to monitor. The color and quality of this turquoise is premium and unmatched.

The fine silver (99.9% pure silver) is created with ArtClay. ArtClay consists of silver particles recycled from old film negatives plus water and pulp fibers, making it an eco-friendly choice in artisan jewelry. The fine silver is first fired, then tumble polished for shine and durability, oxidized to bring out all of the details, then tumble polished again for even more gleam and strength.

The total length of the earring from top of earwire to the bottom of the drop is 2-5/8 inches (6.7cm) long. All other components are exclusively sterling silver.
